Description
Dear Students
This paper is about anthropological fieldwork. Fieldwork remains as the life line of this discipline 'Anthropology'. This will make you understand the concept of fieldwork in generally and particularly in anthropology including its emergence and importance in anthropology. This also includes the ethics of fieldwork and various methods that are used in fieldwork. With this, the compilation of data, writing dissertation/field report will be taught. Ethnographic details of the some selected tribes are also included to study or discuss.
With the development & growth of this discipline, some new trends have also emerged. This paper will also highlight those and moreover, this will help the students to equip themselves theoretically for conducting an actual fieldwork in many societies or groups.
